If you’ve ever fancied living life as a gaucho, Los Dos Hermanos is perfectly placed to fulfil your wishes. We own a 3,100 acre island located approximately 25 minutes away from the Lodge, which is home to as many as 800 cattle and 55 horses at any time, as well as to a number of wild boar, sheep, pigs and goats.

Guests are always invited to take an afternoon out from hunting or fishing to take part in the afternoon cattle round-up. It’s an exhilarating and satisfying experience that will test your skills on horseback as you help the local gauchos with the almost daily task of herding the cattle into the corals.

Several times throughout the year, rodeos are also held on the islands and gauchos will work in pairs to brand and vaccinate the cows. These events are not to be missed. They’re spectacles that pit man against beast!
